Wild About Huckleberries after-school Forest School provides an opportunity to immerse your child in the therapeutic benefits of the outdoors, nature, and caring for our animals.

Wild About Huckleberries is open to all children in years 1 to 6, extending the work of Huckleberries Nurture Farm to everyone, enhancing each child’s self-esteem, confidence, and emotional resilience.  WIld About Huckleberries is run by two qualified Forest School Leaders who provide a child led environment, suporting your child to engage with nature in a nurturing setting. 

Activities include

  • Exploring the seasons
  • Seasonal activities, fun facts and games
  • Bug hunts
  • Nature art and crafts
  • Mindfulness
  • Backwoods cooking
  • Bushcraft
  • Caring for our animals

Sessions run weekly on Tuesdays during term-time, from 15:45 to 17:15 and are open to children in years 1 to 6. Bookings are accepted for a minimum period of one half-term paid in advance.  Concessions apply – please contact us for more information.
